Simone Strohmeier

Simone has developed a lively concert activity during her studies at the universities of music in Basel (Thomas Füri) and Lucerne (Igor Karsko). As a substitute she played regularly in the Basel Symphony Orchestra, the Basel Chamber Orchestra, the Camerata Zurich and the Freiburg Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2013 she completed her studies with a Bachelor of Arts in Music, a Master of Arts in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Classical Performance, and from 2013 to 2017 she was concert master and soloist of the “Ensemble La Partita Zurich”, which she performed at concerts without a conductor from the desk.

Since 2013 she has also been intensively involved in historical performance practice. A Certificate of Advanced Studies at the Lucerne School of Music with Igor Kasko and Giuliano Carmignola as well as master classes and projects with Monika Tóth, Mechthild Karkow, Meret Lüthi, Amandine Beyer and Julia Schröder round off her training.
